Heathrow airport taxi and Heathrow transfers

Taxi to Heathrow and from Heathrow at a fixed fare

Heathrow is the UK’s busiest airport, and a pre-booked Heathrow airport taxi takes the stress out of getting there. You see your fare before you book, your driver follows your flight, and there is no queue at the taxi rank after a long-haul flight. We run Heathrow transfers around the clock, from 4am departures to late-night arrivals.

Heathrow terminals and pickup points

Tell us your terminal and we plan the route and pickup point for you.

• **Terminal 2 (The Queen’s Terminal):** Star Alliance airlines such as Lufthansa, United and Air Canada
• **Terminal 3:** Virgin Atlantic, Emirates, Qatar Airways and Delta
• **Terminal 4:** Etihad, Qatar overflow and many SkyTeam carriers
• **Terminal 5:** British Airways and Iberia

For arrivals, your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board and walks you to the short-stay car park. For departures we drop you at the terminal forecourt; the Heathrow drop-off charge is explained in your quote.

Heathrow minicab or black cab?

A black cab from the rank runs on the meter, so traffic on the M4 or A4 pushes the price up. A pre-booked Heathrow minicab with UK Airport Cabs has a fixed fare agreed in advance, which is usually cheaper for longer distances and for groups. Our [London cab Heathrow fares](/london-cab-heathrow-fares/) page explains typical prices, and our [mini cab London Heathrow](/mini-cab-london-heathrow/) page covers booking a minicab.

Vehicles for Heathrow transfers

Choose a saloon for up to three people, an estate for extra bags, an MPV for five or six passengers, or an 8-seater minibus for families and groups with golf bags or ski equipment. Executive cars suit business travellers heading to Canary Wharf or the City. Child seats are free on request.

Towns near Heathrow we cover

We collect from Hounslow, Hayes, Uxbridge, Staines, Ealing, Richmond, Twickenham, Maidenhead, High Wycombe and every town within the M25. Our town pages include [Slough airport transfers](/airport-transfers-slough/), [Reading airport taxi](/airport-taxi-reading/), [Watford airport taxi](/watford-airport-taxi/) and [High Wycombe airport taxi](/high-wycombe-airport-taxi-transfers/).

Arriving at Heathrow: step by step

1. Your flight lands and our system updates the driver automatically.

2. After passport control and baggage reclaim, walk through to the arrivals hall.

3. Look for your driver holding a name board; if you cannot see them, call the number on your confirmation.

4. The driver helps with luggage and walks you to the car, usually in the short-stay car park beside the terminal.

Heathrow hotels and Thames-side pickups

We collect from all the big Heathrow airport hotels, including the Sofitel at Terminal 5, the Hilton Garden Inn, the Crowne Plaza, the Radisson and the Premier Inn on Bath Road. Riverside towns along the Thames such as Kingston, Chertsey, Walton-on-Thames and Henley are short drives from the airport and popular for early-morning departures.

Business travel through Heathrow

Heathrow is the main gateway for long-haul business trips, so executive transfers to Canary Wharf, the City, Mayfair and Paddington are among our most common journeys. Drivers wait during delays at no extra cost, and receipts show the route and fare for your expense report. For roadshows we can plan a chain of pickups across London with a single booking.

Heathrow to cruise ports and other airports

Heathrow is a common start for cruise holidays. A Heathrow to Southampton cruise taxi takes around 75–90 minutes, a Heathrow to Dover transfer about two hours, and Heathrow to Tilbury roughly 75 minutes. If you are connecting between airports, we also run Heathrow to Stansted, Heathrow to Luton and Heathrow to London City transfers.

Heathrow taxi prices

Fares depend on the distance, the car size and the time of travel. Short local journeys to Hounslow or Hayes cost less than long-distance runs to Oxford or Bournemouth, and an MPV or minibus costs more than a saloon. Your quote always shows the full price, so there are no surprises at the end of the journey.
